John is in charge of all the media, marketing and public relations needs of both the NTC and Sundardas Naturopathic Clinic (SNC). John also helps with conducts lab tests if and when required.

He brings with him more than 25 years of design, media and marketing experience. 

On completion of his Republic of Singapore Air Force contract service in 1987, he spent two years working in a publishing house designing and producing automobile and hospitality publications where he gained considerable experience in print and graphic design. He then worked in a leading tourism and publishing company in charge of producing tourism maps and magazines that were distributed to the airport and over 60 hotels and shopping centres. 

In 1994, John was part of the Singapore Island Country Club’s (SICC) Public Relations Department which was later restructured to become the club’s Publications Department (John was later promoted to Senior Publications Executive spearheading the media and magazine arm of the department). In 2001, the publications department was again restructured to become the Marketing & Communications Department. In 2010, he help set up the club’s heritage gallery which showcased more than 80 items of historical significance. 

After 17 years, John closed the SICC chapter and was freelancing for 10 months as a graphic designer and artist. In 2012, he took on the role of a Social & Recreation Facilitator at the Orchid Country Club. He was in charge of the club’s sports interest group and was subsequently promoted to Social & Recreation Executive. 

On 15 December 2014, John became part of the NTC family.
